Powerfully Intimate Theatre

The Donmar Warehouse is a world-renowned theatre in Covent Garden, celebrated for its bold programming and uniquely intimate audience experience. Working with SomeOne’s brand idea of ‘Powerfully Intimate Theatre’, we set out to translate this tension into striking visuals and subtle moments of motion.

Our approach explores the contrast between power and intimacy through shifts in scale, depth and movement - reflecting the emotional range experienced inside the Donmar space. We developed a series of tonal, animated textures rooted in the logo tab - each one expressing a distinct emotional state - from the slow build of anticipation to moments of deep empathy, capturing the intensity of live performance.

The work creates an atmospheric backdrop, enhancing programme messaging both on screen and in print.
